9:00 am: Registration, Food, Vendors Open

11:30 am: Duck Raffle Winner Announced & Opening Ceremony

11:45 am: Plunger Line Up

12:00 pm: Plunge Begins

12:30 pm: Closing announcements

1-4 pm: After Party at Grumpy Beaver, $1 from every drink purchased will be donated to the Beaver County Polar Plunge

Parking is available for attendees at Fleet Service of America located on the corner of Market St. and Bridge St.

  • Plunge Town will feature music, dancing and more!
  • Don’t miss out on the Lucky Duck Raffle! You can get 1 duck for $10 or 3 ducks for $25. Three (3) ducks will be picked from the pond, the first 2 ducks will be the winner of a Sheetz gift card!! After the first 2 winners are announced, THE Lucky Duck will be picked from the pool and the duck’s owner will be walking away with 50 percent of the proceeds!! Get your ducks in the registration tent or look for the volunteers walking around selling them!
  • Enjoy a food truck as well as free scoops of Bruster’s Ice Cream provided by Tri-State Trailers. Stop by and indulge in the goodies. There are also heaters near the tent, so if you need to warm up, that is a good place to do so!

“One of the things that I’m most proud of from being in Special Olympics are the 5k runs I do every year. Just to put myself out there. I used to always have trouble putting myself out there, trying to make new friends, because I was always quiet and shy. I didn’t talk much. But after putting myself out there and meeting new people I’m kind of used to being around large crowds of people. I just enjoy doing Special Olympics and I don’t think I plan on quitting.”

Special Olympics Pennsylvania will accept gifts from donors and solicit gifts from individuals, corporations, foundations and via special events to support operations in its 9 geographic regions around the state. Such funds are unrestricted but will be used to meet regional operating needs as defined by the Board-approved budget in each region. Should funds raised exceed regional operating needs in the current year, those excess funds may be used at the sole discretion of Special Olympics PA for any purposes that will help the organization further and fulfill its mission.
